Pastor and Facilitator

Pastor James Champlain

Rev. James and Gayla Champlain have been married since 1984 and have devoted their lives to serving God and others. Lifelong Northern California residents, they share a deep love for the Sacramento area and a sincere burden for their community. In 2001, they answered God’s call to establish Jesus Name Lighthouse, building a church rooted in truth, prayer, and genuine care for people. Over the years, they have witnessed countless lives transformed through the Gospel. Today, Pastor and Sis. Champlain continue leading with gratitude and humility, faithfully preaching the Word, loving people, and following the Lord’s direction wherever He leads.

Rev. Russell and Rachel Champlain have been married since 2021 and are raising their three children at Jesus Name Lighthouse, the church Russell has called home since childhood. He was eight years old when the church was founded and has been shaped by its ministry and values ever since. Russell attended Christian Life College in Stockton, earning a two-year degree in music, and has served through music, teaching, evangelism, and ministry support. He currently serves on staff as a Pastor and Secretary at Jesus Name Lighthouse. Together, Russell and Rachel are committed to serving their church and community as the Lord leads.
